The "Mission 300" Reality Check

True Energy Sovereignty

Sovereignty isn’t just about owning a solar panel; it’s about owning a system that works when the grid fails, when the rains come, and when the economy shifts. We build assets that protect your productivity and your peace of mind, shielding you from currency volatility and import delays.

Why do most solar batteries fail in Kenya?

Heat (40°C+), undersizing, poor-quality imports and bad integration cause early degradation, voltage instability and short lifespans. Many cheap batteries last only months instead of years. Solusphere uses heat-resistant cells and accurate sizing so our batteries typically last 2× longer even in extreme East African conditions.

How fast is delivery in Nairobi?

We stock everything locally in Nairobi — most orders ship within 1–2 business days with no customs or import delays. Outside Nairobi (e.g., Mombasa, Kisumu, Eldoret) we aim for 3–5 days via reliable couriers. No waiting weeks for overseas shipments.

What devices do your batteries support?

Our batteries and chargers are tailored for low-power consumer electronics: remote controls, toys, flashlights, torches, small radios, solar lanterns, and similar everyday devices. We also supply components for mini-grids and small home systems.

How do you handle high heat in East Africa?

We select only heat-tolerant lithium and AGM batteries rated for 40°C+ ambient temperatures, with proper thermal management to prevent degradation and thermal runaway. Combined with correct sizing and ventilation guidance, this gives you 2× longer life compared to standard imports.

What if I need technical help with sizing or installation?

We provide free basic sizing guidance when you request a quote. Our team can recommend the right capacity and components for your devices, mini-grid or home setup — just share your load details (e.g., number of flashlights/toys, daily usage).

At Solusphere, we operate differently. We reject the "dumping ground" model.
